Boats run only during the daylight. No boat operation from dusk to daylight is allowed 

Please arrive at the dock about 15 -20 minutes before your hoped for departure.  We are required to proivde a safety briefing, insurance explanation, local knowledge discussion, and a possible check ride.

Sunscreen, refreshments, food, music (your device will connect to our bluetooth system).

Alcohol is permitted, except for the boat operator. 

We have all necessary safety equipment, and a limited amount of floating noodles.

If you have a very young child with you please have your own life preserver for the child.  If you have a pet, please have life preserver for your pet.

Cash to tip your captain, if you have hired one.

Cash to pay for fuel upon return to the dock.

You must be at least 25 years of age to rent, have a valid driver's license, a major credit card.

Further renters must be able to understand safety instructions in English.

Previous boating experience is required to rent and operate a boat. The Florida Keys are not for inexperienced boaters.  Water can be shallow, and hazards are plenty. You should be familiar with boating apps such as WAAVE.

We need at least 72 hours to arrange a captain for your outing. Please prepare accordingly.

Operator's born on or after January 1, 1988 must present a Florida Boater's Safety Card, or other state equivalent. You can obtain a Florida Boater's Safety Card by taking the free course online here.

Our boats are covered by a large policy against physical damage to our boat, other boats and other property. You gain access to the policy by agreeing to the terms of a waiver. You agree to remain careful and sober. We agree to relieve of all physical damage claims, after the first $10,000.

Florida Law requires you to have the option to purchase insurance ro cover injuries to people when operating a rental boat on open water.  We have partnered with Buoy.rent. an international firm that provides the required insurance on a trip basis at reasonable prices.

You only need to purchase insurance for the hours you are operating the boat, and can purchase the insurance moments before the trip. The insurance covers injuries or death from an incident while operating the boat, up to $500,000 per person; $1,000,000 per incident. The insurance has a $5,000 deductible, which also reduces the waiver deductible from $10,000 to $5,000

The insurance also covers early morning and sunset hours not covered by the waiver, which is in force from 9am to 5 pm during the rental period.

You are NOT required to purchase the additonal, except when choosing to operate before 9am or after 5 pm.  Florida requires you to obtain a quote. If you decline the injury insurance you are required to sign a form stating so.  See the FWC decline insurance form.

Our boats are equipped with Garmin 743 series GPS devices. The system comes with charts and fish finders.

We have pre-loaded routes to popular sand bars and other boating stops.

Please stick to the routes we have programmed for your safety and enjoyment.

Our boats are equipped with all Coast Guard required safety equipment including life vests for adults. 

You are required to provide your own life jacket for children under 50 lbs.

Life jackets for youths 50-90 lbs are available upon advance request.

Children aged 6 and under are required to wear life jackets at all times while on the boat.

$100 fuel charge applies to all rental agreements. 

Our boats hold 48 gallons of usable fuel. You will be provided with enough fuel for an average day of boating.

You do not need to top off the tank prior to returning the boat.

Sorry, no tubing, wakeboarding, water skiing or towing other items behind the boat. Period.

We are blessed to have the best boating weather you could ask for.

But still, there are days when the conditions are not right for small craft.

If weather interrupts your day trip we will first make our best efforts to rebook you.

If you are unable to have your boat day due to weather, we will refund your money. 

We do not offer partial refunds for multiple day rentals.
